The Clarifying Age Reverse Mask contains green tea, charcoal, and vitamins to balance and clear the skin. Green tea houses an antioxidant compound called EGCG, which helps fight DNA damage from UV rays, and eliminates free radicals. Activated charcoal is an impurity magnet, drawing them out from the pores, which in turns reduces the appearance of the pores. Hyaluronic Acid retains moisture, and creates a plumping effect, which reduces the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Vitamin C creates collagen, which increases skin’s elasticity and can help with inflammatory conditions. Vitamin E fights off fresh radicals, which protects your skin from damage. It also promotes cell regeneration. Vitamin B5 has anti-inflammatory properties, and can help stimulate your skin’s natural healing process. The texture is a thin and watery gel-like consistency, making even application slightly difficult. It doesn’t harden, but it does dry after about 5-10 minutes. It does not have a very pleasant scent, but feels incredibly refreshing when applied due to the coolness. I do not mind applying a little pressure when attempting to remove something from my skin, but I don’t like having to fully wipe something away. This mask rinses off so cleanly and easily, and does not leave behind any weird residue. Plus, it leaves your skin looking smooth and refreshed! I haven’t used it long enough to see if it does reverse the signs of aging, but it does make it seem smoother. The more I use this mask, the more my love for it grows. This is definitely a good mask if you are looking for smooth, more radiant skin!
